Nihaarika Sinha is the Founder-Director of the Sadhana School of Music and conducts online courses in Hindustani Vocal Music. Nihaarika is a versatile singer with a mellifluous and unique voice quality. She is a Sangeet Vishaarad in Hindustani classical music from the Bhathkhande Sangeet Sheekshpeeth , Lucknow and has received her training under Smt. Shashikala Kaikini. She has also had the good fortune of learning light classical music from one of the greatest Thumri exponents Padma Bhushan Smt. Shobha Gurtu . Nihaarika has taken voice training from the famous vocalist Pandit Satyanarayan Mishra. She is currently under the guidance of the well known Bhajan Samrat Padma Shree Pandit Anup Jalotaji in bhajan singing. She is also simultaneously undergoing voice training with the famous classical vocalist Ustaad Maqbool Husseinji. She is a live performer and has done many stage shows. Being a versatile singer she is able to sing across all genres of light music – film songs, devotional music and ghazals. Nihaarika has also presented papers on Bollywood music at International conferences. She is an All India radio graded artist. Her album dedicated to Lord Ganesh – “Prathampujit Shri Ganesh” has been released by Venus worldwide music. She has also sung for Dharma productions film “Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya”. Recently she has sung for the short film “Muktiparv – A Renaissance”, which emerged as the best international film at the “Ekurhuleni International film festival”, South Africa. She has also recorded bhajans for Wings music which have been released on their music channel ”Bhajan India”. her ghazal album -“Hazaaron Khwahishein – The Ghazals of Ghalib”, has been released Red Ribbon Music.
