It will be great to learn ORIGAMI in these locked down days.
You do not need much material. Papers and your hands are the only things you need to learn the technique. As you develop the skill, you can be creative and share your ideas with the community of Origami lovers all over the world.
The course will introduce the students to all the basics of Origami. They will be taught different kinds of folds, all the basic folds like valley and mountain folds, pleats, reverse folds, squash folds, and sinks.
You will also be taught bases and models based on these. The models taught will be a variety consisting of animals, birds, flowers, boxes, objects of utility and action toys. These can be folded from origami paper and A4 paper (white printer paper or coloured A4 paper) that is easily available in stationary shops, or even rough papers from magazines and newspapers, brown paper, papers from old notebooks, etc. They should also have glue and scissors/ cutter ready though the use of these will be minimal.
The students will also be taught how to read the diagrams and fold so that once they finish the course, they can pursue this as a hobby on their own.
