About the Speaker
Pushkar Sohoni is an architect, an architectural and cultural historian. He is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune. He is also a faculty member of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences (CAIDS) at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune.
His research is on the architecture and material culture of the mediaeval and early modern Deccan.
